Below you will find two reports pertaining to the impact of Pell Grants in the state of
Alabama. The first report, A Study of Pell Grants in Alabama, is a narrative describing the impact of
Pell Grants on students at Alabama’s public universities and colleges over the last several years. The
report then goes on to discuss how recent restrictions placed on Pell eligibility will impact students in the
future. The initial report is 20 pages long.
The second part of the report, The Impact of Pell Grants at Alabama Public Universities and
Two-Year Colleges: Technical Report, provides a breakdown, institution by institution (in alphabetical order by
four-year and two-year institutions), of the findings. A word of caution: the Technical Report is approximately
130 pages long. You may want to be selective in printing the second attachment.
